Exploring Our Creative Flexibility
Operating in a Common Neutral Ground (CNG) takes a lot of work initially. This is because we have many internally programmed responses to people, situations, and the jockeying for power and control. Our relationships are modeled after our relationships with our parents. This process is called imprinting, and our parents are the most difficult to remove from our Common Neutral Ground because we have always needed them.
In the CNG 2 classes, we strengthened our Inner Autonomy, and we learned how to release ourselves from false beliefs and not dwell in the past. We discovered how changing these perspectives can be a freeing and healing process.
In these new classes, we will explore relationships in the Common Neutral Ground (CNG). The more we engage our CNG, the more we become aware of cause-and-effect responses in the world. Things that may have been difficult or could have hurt us become transformed by removing the patterns and practices that concentrate the energy previously invested in our distortions. CNG neutralizes energetic imbalances by making new choices. Our connection to society and the world becomes more transparent. We grow in our ability to anticipate problems, which leads to greater action as we embrace change. Growth becomes more integrated, and we become more selective with the people with whom we interact. This reduces the conflict in our lives, and we gradually become more secure because of what we manifest.
Co-creative individuals are undaunted by opportunities to bring something new and good into the world. We invest in the pleasure, creative power, and passion that creative development brings. This means we awaken to what others need and realize that our own needs are more minimal. To release ourselves from personality development and engage fully in our creative gifts, we need to release the false focus of selfishness so we can experience more joy.
People practicing a Common Ground are better positioned to sound the alarm and awaken those who do not understand emerging issues. They become centers of transformation and transfiguration so others can see and acknowledge their Values and Virtues. This initiates improvements in relationships because they become the core of new enlightened communities.
Common Neutral Ground is a way to amplify our energy, time, and space, to modify the way we interact with others. When individuals possess different Compatibility Factors, Motives, Attractions, and Skills, our connections are shaped by these similarities and differences. This course seeks to counterbalance and neutralize reactive fears and projections on each other by defining the relationship as a fair, balanced expression.
With experience, we become fluent in the Common Neutral Ground process. It becomes easier to create and maintain Common Neutral Ground under any circumstance. Our vision about ourselves and others is enhanced as we come to build greater appreciation between people. These relationships can become opportunities to enhance our discoveries. With greater alignment comes more power in the Common Ground to make change, growth, and striving occur. The heart of this program is teamwork based on equity and equality. Without the biases of cultural differences, Common Neutral Ground becomes the primary unifying element guiding our development.
The more a person is identified with their creative nature and not their reactive one, the easier it is to neutralize negative concerns. By recognizing the qualities that make us actual contributors to each other, we discover that our misperceptions of others are the way we grow more authentic because we neutralize reactions by withdrawing their power. We also learn not to buy into our own fears about others (even when they have wronged us in the past) that cause us to isolate through reaction, separate through polarization, and enmesh when we don’t know what to do. Changing these perspectives can be a freeing and healing process.
This class will address these concerns so that everyone we connect with can interact through the Common Ground we establish. This means declaring that our connections are not about others but instead are about loving and healing who we are in relation to others.
We need to do the inner work so that our balance and boundaries will be respected. The more we practice these Common Neutral Ground skills, the more naturally they will empower us. The big difference from our past is to empower our Creative Nature to hold ourselves and others harmless so there will be no transgressions with each other instead of thinking of ourselves in terms of defenses.
This class will pair you with partners who are more difficult for you to connect with. Our goal is to expand your range of interactive opportunities by learning how to connect to anyone. This practice is a natural extension of Common Neutral Ground that expands our understanding of how people function. We also develop greater calibration skills so that we will immediately know that certain individuals can trigger us in specific ways. This teaches us how to have balanced relationships in any circumstance.
